Final posting from Intern 1

Okay.. i'm gonna submit my documents and all and then tt's it from intern 1. Internship shall end here and another phase of my life shall start. It's been an interesting yet arduous 3 months here and well.. on looking back.. its bitter sweet.. there've been angels that have helped made my time here pass faster(by way of giving me lotsa work.. or lotsa assistance and kindness).

Thanks to all those who have helped me in one way or the other.. though i doubt u guys will ever see this blog.. haha.. but thanks anyways. =) Okay.. its intern 1 signing off.. till i upload the pictures of the final coke bottle count and my office space. =)

Last day of Internship

LAst day, HOOOO~!!!! Hahaha.. i'm so happy its the last day of the internship here.. but somehow i feel a tinge of sadness as well as i've spent 3 months of my life here. Hmmm.. and of coz..i think this blog shall no longer be updated after this internship as we'll no longer have anything to update on this blog.. at most i'll write my own blog and link this blog to that.

Anyways, its been a long 3 mths.. and i'm just glad its ending. Somehow i feel that i'll appreciate school more for now since i can go n rest on my bed in hall anytime and there's more leeway and free time for myself as compared to the working life where everyday's from 9-5. or rather 8.30-5.30 here. Haiz.. *auld lang syne tune plays in the background*.. haha

Faux pas

European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

I no rike going to office in the mornings without breakfast
I no rike going to the canteen above for lunch
I no rike going outside for dinner if I'm not eating at a restaurant, and
I no rike going to the hawker/food courtish place halfway from here to AMK.

Universityist

Hahaha.. dunno if there's such a word. But anyways, on the topic of GV being a universityist, fugging hell, how can onlee SMU get the privileges of being in the GV Star Movies Club?!?!?! this is a clear example of trying to portray us NUS buggers as being muggerish and onlee studying whereas those SMU-ians are hip and cool and watch movie all day. Okay, talking nonsense, but the fugging NUSSU better do something bout it. Get us some privileges too, u cunts.
